Joellie's Visit

Joellie and Grandma arrived last Wednesday.  We sure enjoyed having them both here.  Joellie had to leave this morning, and it was a bummer.  I wish she could have stayed longer.  Here is what what we were up to while Joellie was here!

Trip to Flagstaff   May 31, 2014

We had a very nice trip up north.  It was in the mid 70's.  The weather was perfect.  On the way, we stopped at Montezuma's Castle and Well.  The Well sure gave us a run for our money as it was SUPER HOT!  A few more minutes in the sun and one of us would have suffered from Heat Exhaustion.  We were all so glad to get back into the car.

We did some shopping in Flagstaff, and ate a yummy lunch inside of an old hotel.  We tried going to the Orpheum Theater so Joellie could drop off a Traveling Bug for Geocaching, but it was closed.

Elva got us all into Montezuma's Castle for $10!  Thank you, Senior Pass!  We can actually get into ANY National Park for Free with her!

Joellie brought a Traveling Bug with her she found at Millpond Park in Saline.  It was super cool!  The place where she left it ended up being right near our house.  Someone has already picked it up, and it is currently in Atlanta, Georgia!
