Inside on This Rainy Day
Rentschler Farm-Saline, Michigan
This morning, we went to Rentschler Farm. Kathy and John volunteer there, so we got a VIP tour. It was so fun. Cruz was somewhat interested in the animals. It was so neat hearing about the history of the farm (built in 1901), and seeing all of the work John and Kathy have put into taking care of the animals, restoring equipment and buildings, and the beautiful garden. It was a sprinkling out, but that did not ruin our fun. I am so glad we got to go.

Playdate at Erica's
This evening, we went over to Erica's for a play-date! It was as much of a play-date for the kids as it was for us moms! It was so exciting seeing all of the kids interact. I had only seen Austin when he was a tiny baby, and I had never met Dylan. What sweet boys they were. Austin and Cruz were the same size!
Christie, Don, and the girls came over too! Anna has grown at least a foot since we had seen her at Christmas, and Lauren was as cute as cute can be. I can't believe Christie is going to have another one(Brooke) any day!
The food was amazing, and even Aunt Erica gave Cruz his first taste of cake. Boy did he love it! He wanted "more, more, more!"
The highlight of my night was dishing the dirt with Erica and Christie! I missed those ladies so much! My only regret is not getting a picture with them! But.... we did get some great shots of the kiddos--A Special Thanks to Erica's Husband, Mike (A.K.A. Monkey Daddy) for getting the kids to smile!

Michigan Trip-Part 2: Saline
We woke up early this morning and drove to Saline. I was so excited to see my parents and do some more relaxing. After getting settled at Nana's, we headed down to my parents house for the afternoon. Cruz had a great time playing outside in the yard, and Ben even had some fun too! Cruz is finally used to the grass, and was walking all over the place. I wish we had grass this nice in Arizona!
Cruz just loved the wind chimes on the patio. He kept putting them on his face. We are learning that he likes different textures and things touching his face. He is just too cute for words!

Hanging at Grandma and Grandpas
It was great relaxing and spending time at Grandma and Grandpas. On Memorial Day, Mel made BBQ Chicken and Ribs, and we spent the afternoon outside when it was not sprinkling. Cruz loved playing with his cousins. Ben and I even got in a few rounds of Charlie's Browns while in Almont...Hambos, Superbagels, and Taco Tuesday too! It was so sad to leave and say goodbye. Luckily, we knew grandma was flying home with us, and we will be seeing Bob, Michelle, and Rose in a few weeks in Vegas for Cousin Melissa's Wedding.
