The Rest of the Trip

Here are some photos from the rest of the trip.  I would deem the trip a success!  Cruz loved everyone and was a wondeful traveler!  I am looking forward to returning in May!  We are so lucky to have such wonderful families!

Friend's Day!

I have been waiting for this day!!!  We got to spend time with my friends.  Leah, Julie, and I met for lunch at Mac's.  We had a great time chatting, and not one of us has changed one bit!  Then, we headed to the Mirabella's for a visit.  The three of us have not been together since my wedding!  That is almost 4 years!

Later on that evening, we headed to Christie and Don's house.  It was a lot of fun!  We had pizza, salad, chips and dip!  Such a great time!

I really had missed my friends.  As we left, I said to Ben that the hole I have had in my heart is now filled.  Time with my girlfriends from home was just what I needed.  It was a wonderful day!

First Snow

It was super snowy today, so I just had to take Cruz outside!  It was far too cold and blustery to sit him in the snow, but it was still fun! 

The 26th

This morning, we celebrated Christmas with my parents.  It is so great being home. The coolest gift he received was his new brother, Carl.  My mom found this woman on Etsy who makes dolls.  You can specify eye color, hair, race, and clothing.  So, she had one made that looks just like Cruz!  SO CUTE!!

Later that day, Kathy came by and got to see Cruz.  He would not let go of her finger for some reason!  He loved her!

Christmas Day with My Side

After leaving Almont, we drove to Saline and got settled in at Nana's house.  My mom and dad came over to see Cruz before we headed over to the Learman's house for presents and dinner.

At the Learman's, Cruz got to meet the rest of the family.  It was so exciting.  He was the center of attention!  It was so great seeing everyone all at once!

This evening, we had dinner at Bob and Michelle's house.   We had a great time!   I loved having everyone there all together, and Cruz showed everyone his moves.   He was so content on the kitchen floor bouncing and crawling around.   He even entertained himself while we all ate..except for the bout of projectile vomit towards the end.  Thank goodness that happened on the wood floor...not the carpet.
