Baby Ava

Today, Brittney came to Babysit for the first time since she had Miss Ava. We were so happy to see her, and Cruz just loved, "Baby Ava." Here are some pictures I received while I was at training.

Cori and Ashley came to visit today. We had not seen them since March. We had such a great time. Lots to chat about and catch up on. I found out that Cori and I sure have a lot in common and are alike in many ways too. I am so excited that we are able to see Cori and Ashley often. It is so great to have family close.

Cori and Ashley showered Cruz with Birthday Gifts, played hard, and they also brought an extremely yummy Homemade Strawberry Cheesecake, complete with Strawberry Puree and Fresh Strawberries as well.

It was a great evening, and we can't wait to see them again!

This morning, we met Rosetta, D'Juan and the kids at the Splash Pad. It was a lot of fun. Cruz had a blast in the water, and they all loved playing on the playground. I am so happy he is not afraid any longer of the Splash Pad! This will be a perfect summer activity!

End of the Year COOP Program

Today was the big end of the Year COOP Program. It was doubly exciting because Jury Duty was cancelled for Ben, so he was able to leave work early and come to the show.

Cruz did a pretty good job! He didn't move too much or sing at first, but then he got going and was on a roll. We got some great video; it was precious. He even got to stand next to his buddy, Liam, during the program which made it fun for all of us parents.

Cruz is 2! (Part 6) Time for Bed

This was such a full and very big day! Our baby is two! We love our little boy so much. It has been a wonderful past two years. We are so lucky to be his parents. We love you, Cruz!

Cruz is 2! (Part 5) A Virtual Birthday Party

After playing outside, it was almost 5:00pm, and that is usually when we eat dinner. There was no time to make anything, and Ben and I were still full from lunch, so we decided to do Cake and Ice Cream. We were Face Timing with Nana at that point, so we called my mom and Rick, Ben's mom, Jessie and the kids, and Bob and Michelle. We had a Virtual Birthday Party!

It took awhile to get everything set up, and everyone was very patient. We sang to Cruz and everyone watched him eat his cake and ice cream(for dinner). He was very interactive with the crowd and even tried to feed them cake! It was so cute. It was the next best thing than being in Michigan with everyone. We are so lucky everyone was able to be on with us.

Cruz is 2! (Part 4) The Water Table

After the Train Park, we ate lunch at Z Tejas, then headed home and got Cruz down for a nap around 2pm. He would have probably slept all afternoon, but we decided to wake him up at 4pm. We Face Timed Ben's mom and sister, Jessie, and the kids while Cruz played with his new Water Table. He had a blast, and was super excited to wear his nandals(sandals). It was so much fun watching him play. He also was very spoiled and got to play with the hose.

Cruz is 2! (Part 3) The Train Park

We finally made it to McCormick Stillman Train Park in Scottsdale! We sure had a great time. Cruz was very interested in all of the trains and loved taking a ride! It was such a perfect place for families and little ones. It was also very reasonably priced--we didn't even spend $20. We were very happy with the time we spent there!
