Halloween

Cruz had such a busy and wonderful day!  Trick or Treating was cancelled at Daycare, so they had a Halloween Party instead.  They carved a pumpkin and ate a special snack.  

 After dinner, we went Trick or Treating; Cruz was in heaven.  He ran all the way down the street and never stopped.  He had no idea what we were actually doing, but he was happy.  We visited 3 houses, and that was plenty for us.  It was nice seeing a few of our neighbors. 
 
Cruz was excited to help Ben "knock" on the door, but got scared once they started coming toward him with the candy.  It was funny.  I would call tonight a success, and I can't wait until next year!

This evening, we tried on Cruz's costume to be sure it fit.  Boy, we were lucky that it did!  Cruz was not in the best mood, so he was pretty upset to have it on.  Here's hoping tomorrow is better!

Coupe Car

Ben and I scored big time at Babies R Us!  We had gone to look at cars for Cruz and found this beauty, the floor model, for $20!  Just a little elbow grease to clean it off, and it's as good as new.  These are normally $50 for this particular model.  

Cruz is currently obsessed with a Witch we have hanging out front for Halloween.  It is motion activated, so when the wind blows, or someone goes near it, it shrieks, vibrates, and talks.  Cruz just can't take his eyes off of her.  He is mesmerized.  I am 99.9% sure he is scared, but trying to make friends with her.  He was so distracted my her that all he did was sit in the car, and never moved an inch.  He was too busy waving to her.

Children's Museum

This morning, Cruz and I met Liam and his mom, Anese, at the Children's Museum.  They had a 2 for 1 Deal Chicken, so the price was just right(as children are no longer free after they turn 1).  It was so much fun seeing the boys run around.  It was probably the most exhausting play date as of yet.  They both were running off in different directions, so Anese and I did not get to visit as we thought we might.  We sat down for a snack before we left, so we got a chance to chat then, but it was not enough!  I was so glad we got to spend some time together.

Tuesday-Supposed to Be Picture Day...

Today, our only plan was to get the boys' and Nana's pictures taken at JCPenney's in the afternoon.  But, sadly Cruz woke up from his nap in quite a funk.  We ended up cancelling the appointment at the last minute because it would not have been pretty.  Here are a few pictures that we did take that afternoon.
