Easter 2014

Today was a very nice Easter.  It was so fun watching all of the excitement and seeing the fun through Cruz's eyes.  After Cruz ate breakfast, we headed out for the Big Egg Hunt.  Cruz was really into it and was running all over the yard.  It was hilarious watching him try to find the eggs.  

We put Bunny Graham Crackers in each egg, and you would have thought it was candy.  He was so excited to open them immediately and eat them.  One of the eggs had fruit snacks in it, and he liked finding those, but he was less than impressed with the one containing a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup.  It was hilarious.

This is the first of a day full of sneezes.  It must be allergies.  He had a runny nose all day long...

Needing Dad's Help...

After the hunt, Cruz played with all of his new treasures.  Ben and I dined on Lox and Bagels, and boy was it delicious.  We got to  Facetime with Ben's family, my parents, and Nana.  Cruz took a nice nap, and then we had a nice dinner of Ham and Swiss Sliders(a Pinterest Recipe), Cheesy Potatoes, and Deviled Eggs.  It was perfect, and I am so glad I did not attempt to make a huge meal.
